What real customers say about Aussie Broadband

Customers consistently praise the Australian-based support team, highlighting their attentiveness, knowledge, and quick issue resolution. Many reviewers noted the reliability and consistent speed of their connection, often exceeding advertised rates, even during peak times. The ease of upgrading services and the proactive communication about outages were also frequently mentioned as positive aspects of their experience.

However, several reviewers expressed concern over increasing prices for the same service or noted that the plans are generally more expensive than competitors. While connection reliability was often praised, a few customers reported occasional buffering or instability during peak weekend or evening hours. Few other complaints stand out from the recent reviews.

Followup review of Aussie Broadband

Nothing has changed

Prices have slowly crept up but so have the costs with other providers AussieBB is more than comparable with them all.

Nothing much has changed on our home NBN service but on the Community Radio station I volunteer at we recently had to re-locate the transmitter site and going for a FTTN service at the new location was going to cost a lot to get a cable into the site. Like about $8,000 to ditch a miserable 2 pair cable into the site.
As we only need Data we looked at various data plans from other 4G Data providers and Aussie came out as being the most economical so a SIM for that service came from AussieBB and has been rock solid steady since installation.

+ Brilliant Call Centre access

– VOIP features somewhat lacking

A No Frills company who DO deliver what they promise most of the time.Outages are to be expected but at least AussieBB let you know unlike other ISP's who either dont know or simply will not say they have problems.
For what we get pricing is good and suits our need very well.
Technical support is also very good and they DO go that extra bit to sort things out promptly when there are issues such as experienced at cutover from ADSL.
Since going to Aussie BB I have recommended others to make the same move and 2 have done so.

Still great user support.

More expensive, too many increases

Recent issues with connection reliabilty, Aussie engaged NBN and they resolved a connection issue in the cable pit in the nature strip. Aussie followed up post-repair to see if all was ok.

Good overall

+ Great user support

– Wish it was about 10 less per month

From the first contact with Aussie it took them 90 minutes to completely resolve our broadband issues that TPG hadn't been able to fix in 3 weeks. Single person point-of-contact to help with any issue - you don't get requeued to another group or team. Australian based, and you speak to someone, not a chat screen.

Great speeds, zero downtime

+ often above 600mb speeds, no downtime in the past year and the technical support guys know their stuff.

– Could be a little cheaper, but i can live with it.

had a painless setup, rarely any speed slow downs and only had to contact the service team once to get a non-pooled IP for external access to my network.

Good broadband

Advertised Speeds, good customer support.

I havent had any negative experiences so far

Get above advertised speeds which is great. Broadband is expensive in Australia, so getting what you paid for is the least a company can do. I switched because my last provider wasn't giving me reliable connection and speed. Been pleased on Aussie Broadband.

Aussie Broadband have been the best ISP I have used

+ fantastic app with self service options. responsive local tech support

– no loyalty rewards or discounts, only new sign ups

AussieBB have been fantastic. The speeds are always quick and reliable and they are very good at communicating any upcoming outages.
Switching of plans is quick and easy through their app, which also includes many other useful features such as rebooting the connection or running connection tests.
The only time I've had to contact technical support was to opt-out of CG NAT and the process was quick and effortless.
I have on many occasions taken advantage of their referral program to refer my friends and family.

Switched to a more reliant provider

Provides fast internet.

One in a while network drops out

Internet connection speed stays stable and fast majority of the time and can handle multiple devices. Occasionally network drops out for around 20 seconds and usually unexpectedly or without any pattern during the day or night.

Incredible, Personal and Supportive

+ Very quick churn from existing carrier. high level of clear communication. incredible app

– none to mention Possibly slightly higher prices but I would pay this any day for the quality and support

Onboarding was a simple and welcoming process with Aussie. They treat you as an individual and depending on your technical knowledge are willing to have a conversation at that level. The churcn was 15mins to changeover and the app is a life saver. I am yet to see another ISP provide such a fantastic all in one app - providing so many levels of access and administration.
